What is Sevelle?
Sevelle is a private AI assistant that runs entirely on your own Windows PC. You buy it once, install it, and chat with it much like ChatGPT — except nothing you type ever leaves your computer.
Is this like ChatGPT?
Same idea, different tradeoff. ChatGPT runs on company servers and reads what you send it. Sevelle runs a smaller open-source AI model on your own graphics card — completely private and yours, but not as powerful as the biggest cloud models.
What can I actually use it for?
Writing and editing, brainstorming, summarizing long text, answering questions, explaining things, drafting emails, and thinking through ideas. It is a capable everyday assistant.
Who is Sevelle for?
Anyone who wants an AI they own and control — people who value privacy, or who want an assistant that keeps working with no subscription and no internet.
What does local AI mean?
It means the AI model — the brain — lives and runs on your machine instead of in a data center. Your conversations are processed on your own hardware.
Is it a subscription?
No. One flat price, paid once. No monthly fees, no account, no login.
Can it see my screen or my files?
No. It only sees what you type or the files you deliberately give it. It has no access to your screen, camera, or anything you do not hand it.
Is Sevelle safe to use?
Yes. It runs as a normal Windows app on your own machine and works offline. You stay in control of everything it sees and stores.
Buying and pricing
How much is Sevelle?
$29.99, one time.
Is it really just one payment?
Yes. You pay once and it is yours, including free updates. There is no recurring charge.
How do I pay?
Through Stripe, our payment processor, which accepts major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more. It is a standard secure checkout.
What will the charge look like on my statement?
It shows as SEVELLE.APP on your bank statement — that is us. Your emailed receipt comes from Stripe, our payment processor.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — 14 days, no questions asked. If it does not run well on your machine or is not for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
Do I need an account to buy it?
No account, no login, no API key. You buy it, download it, and use it.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Your purchase is a license for your own use. If you need it on more than one machine, email us and we will help.
Installing and setup
How do I install it?
After you buy, you land on a download page with your license key and a download button. Run the file like any normal Windows program.
Windows says Windows protected your PC. Is that a virus?
No. That is SmartScreen, and it appears because the app is new and has not been downloaded many times yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. Every small software company gets this at first.
How big is the download?
The installer is around 526 MB. Then, on first launch, you download one AI model — between 2 and 9 GB depending on which you pick. That model download happens only once.
How long does setup take?
The installer itself is quick. The one-time model download is the longest part and depends on your internet speed. You never do it again.
Do I need to install anything else?
No. No account, no API key, no extra software. Everything it needs comes with it or is downloaded by the setup wizard.
Where does it install?
Into your Program Files like a normal application. Your personal data — chats and memory — lives in your Documents folder.
Can I choose where it installs?
Yes, you can pick the install location during setup.
How do I uninstall it?
Like any Windows app, through Settings, then Apps. Your chats and memory are plain files you can delete separately if you want.
Using Sevelle
How do I talk to it?
Just type in the chat box and press enter, exactly like any chat app. It replies in the same window.
Can it remember things about me?
Yes. Sevelle keeps a memory of things you tell it to remember, stored as plain text files you can open, read, edit, or delete yourself.
Where is my chat history stored?
On your own computer, in your Documents folder, as readable files. There is no hidden cloud database.
Can I give it files to read?
Yes. You can attach files such as PDFs so it can use them in the conversation.
Can it browse the web?
No, and that is on purpose. It answers from the AI model knowledge and from files you give it. An AI that cannot reach the internet cannot leak your conversations to it.
Can I have more than one conversation?
Yes. You can keep multiple separate chats.
Does it speak out loud?
Not in the current version — Sevelle is text-based right now. A voice feature may return in a future update.
What languages does it understand?
It works best in English, and can handle other languages depending on the AI model you choose.
Can it help with code?
Yes. It can help write, explain, and debug code, within the limits of the model you are running.
Will it always be right?
No. Like all AI, it can be wrong or make things up. Check anything important — it is an assistant, not an authority, and not a substitute for a professional.
Privacy and offline
Is it really private?
Yes. After setup you can disconnect from the internet entirely and it keeps working, because the model, your memory, and your chats all live on your own disk.
Does it send my conversations anywhere?
No. Your conversations never leave your machine.
Does it phone home at all?
Only a small check at startup to see whether a newer version exists. It sends nothing about your conversations, and you can turn the check off in Settings.
Do you collect my data?
Essentially nothing. There is no account and no tracking of your chats. The only optional touchpoint is a feedback form you choose to use.
Can Sevelle read my other files?
Only files you explicitly give it. It does not scan your drive.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Your chats and memory are plain files in your Documents folder. They stay until you delete them.
Do I need to trust you with my data?
Not really — that is the point. Because everything runs and stays on your computer, you are not handing your conversations to anyone.
Your PC and performance
What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC with an Nvidia graphics card that has at least 4 GB of VRAM. Most gaming PCs from the last several years qualify.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. Sevelle is Windows-only today.
Does it work with AMD or Intel graphics?
Not yet — it currently needs an Nvidia GPU. AMD and Intel support may come if there is enough demand.
Can I run it without a graphics card?
No. A supported Nvidia GPU is required, because the AI model runs on the graphics card.
It is running slowly. What can I do?
Your GPU may not have enough memory for the model you picked. Switch to a smaller model in Settings — the app tells you which ones fit your card.
Which AI model should I choose?
The setup wizard checks your graphics card and recommends the best model for it. More VRAM lets you run a smarter model.
How much disk space do I need?
Roughly 3 GB for the app, plus 2 to 9 GB for the AI model you choose.
Will it slow down my computer?
It uses your graphics card while it is thinking, then releases it. It runs as a normal app and closes like one.
Updates and support
Are updates free?
Yes. When a new version is available, Sevelle offers it and installs it for you, at no extra cost.
How do I update?
Sevelle checks at startup and shows an update option when there is a new version. It is one click.
What does yours forever mean?
The version you own keeps working on your machine indefinitely. No server can switch it off.
How do I get help?
Email [email protected] — a human reads it — or use the feedback form inside the app.

Yes. It is actively maintained, with improvements and new features shipping as free updates.
